One of the great pleasures of riding, for me anyway, is the joy of control. There is nothing like that perfect, smooth stop when my feet touch the road at the moment my bike comes to a slow and complete stop. The rush of leaning into a curve, setting my line, and not straying from it. The smooth shift when I cannot feel the bike's momentum change, just a continual smooth acceleration. Coming to a stop for just a moment, maintaining the balance, not putting my feet down, then accelerating away. I have put 1000 miles on my CCT and have learned her ways, her touch, and her unique characteristics. I am truly experiencing one of the great joys of motorcycle riding.
