Let us hope that Americans realize that the Democratic Party will never work with President Trump. The only way for our nation to moved forward is for the Republicans to cane total control of the government. If the Democrats cane control we will progress back to high taxes, regulations, our companies moving over seas. We will go back to slow national growth, more people on welfare because the loss of jobs. The U.S.A. will become a week country with endless wars and eventually at the mercy of the rest of the world. China will become the powerhouse in the world. This is a fight to save our nation from a corrupt government. They want to remove our first and second amendments of our Bill of Rights and suppress Christianity. They want to destroy our nation as it was founded.
I think it's clear the dems want to tear down America so China and other nations can take the lead. Dem politicians are the enemy within. Democrats who vote for them are the useful idiots as Rush coined them. They know not what they do and if they do know; then they too are the enemy within. Mortal enemies. I honestly can't think of a single good thing to say about the democrat party in the last 20 years. Maybe 30. What good have they done for America? Nothing I can think of. Maybe you can think of something.

The dem party of my youth and my parents heyday is gone. Nothing left of it. All extreme radical leftist commie thinking now. In a just world they would be escorted to the nearest country that would take them; if any could be found. That's a big "if". I don't think even Russia would want these radical leftists in their country causing all the same trouble they do here. Of course there's always Siberia. Now that might be the perfect place for antifa and their supporters. Kinda hard to think about causing trouble when you're starving and freezing. :D :D :D

Man-O-Man! That journalist outed that judge hard and exposed all his issues making him unfit for public service in any capacity but especially as a judge. Every once in a while a good journalist comes along to restore some faith in that profession. It was obvious this was personal to him though so....

Why the dem party is a failed party.

Profile of the Radical Left

They went from “safe, legal, and rare” to anytime, anyplace, and your neighbor has to pay for it.

They went from scientifically and “medically accurate” information to men can have babies, too.

They went from, “Ask not what your country can do for you” to demanding a universal basic income provided by your neighbor.

They went from, “I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it” to “speech is violence.”

They went from talking about a crisis at the border to saying anyone who believes there is a border crisis is a racist.

They went from adoring Barack Obama despite his public position that marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman, to passing laws preventing the opening of chicken restaurants because the deceased owner held the same position.

They went from “coexist” bumper stickers to suing grandmothers who preferred not to decorate a same-sex wedding.

They went from defending women’s autonomy to demanding women wax the genitals of men claiming to be women.

They went from nearly unanimous support for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act during the Clinton administration to insisting religious freedom is simply a “license to discriminate.”

They sued a convent of nuns to force them to pay for birth control.

They went from e pluribus unum to intersectionality.

They went from encouraging people to be good, to incentivizing people to be victims. Now, some people want to be victims.

They passed new legislation clarifying that if a woman wants to kill her child the day before her due date, she can. If the baby somehow survives the attempted abortion, the adults are permitted to deny treatment to the baby. They can just let it lie there and cry until it’s dead, I guess. Women’s rights and stuff.

They went from working to get drugs out of schools to working to get drag queens and Planned Parenthood into schools.

They went from the Fatherhood Initiative to telling anyone who would listen that dads don’t specifically matter, kids just need adults around who care about them.

Did I mention the nuns they sued?

They went from the War on Poverty to war on anyone who believes someone with a penis is always a man.

They went from fighting for freedom of expression to fighting for safe spaces.

They went from being the biggest defenders of free speech to passing laws that punish people if they use the “wrong” pronoun.

They passed laws claiming it’s always harmful to tell a boy with gender dysphoria he’s a boy, but they say it’s never harmful to give him puberty blockers, sterilize him, and cut off his penis — as long as he says wants to.

They convinced themselves that loving their neighbor gave them the right to another neighbor’s property.

They went from “believe women” to saying any woman who doesn’t want to share a shower with a man who says he’s a woman is a bigot. Then they went back to “believe women” when they thought it would help them oust a Supreme Court nominee they didn’t like.

They talk inalienable rights but mock faith in a Supreme Law Giver from whom inalienable rights might come.

They actually booed God.

They said they wanted everyone to love their neighbors, but when their neighbors created faith-based organizations for that purpose, they mocked and ridiculed them, then passed laws preventing them from placing orphans or housing foster kids, and protested those who were feeding the hungry because of their religion.

In some states, they passed laws telling churches they had to pay for abortions. In those same states, they made it illegal for a 13-year-old to go to the tanning bed but legal for her to get an abortion. Her parents don’t even have to know. The law also allows her to surgically remove her healthy breasts after her abortion, but sun beds are just a step too far.

Half-Human, Half-Robot Justice Enters Supreme Court, Introduces Self As Ruth Bader Gins-Borg (Satire)

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Yesterday after the United States Supreme Court opened and justices began filing in, a half-robot, half-human with the face of Ruth Bader Ginsburg entered wielding an arm cannon, body armor, enhanced retinal targeting, and an integrated jetpack. “I AM RUTH BADER GINS-BORG. PLEASE PROCEED,” the cybernetic justice said to her colleagues, then reclined in her provided Windsor chair which was instantly crushed under the weight of her new cybernetic body.

Overall, Gins-Borg performed well, never falling asleep or showing any signs of fatigue. “She didn’t even blink,” said Judge Sonya Sotomayor who claims the cyborg justice stared at her for a large portion of the proceedings with one empty, soulless eye. At one point Sonya quietly whispered into the vacant robot woman’s ear, “is that you in there Ruth? What have they done to you?”
Some concerns were raised when an abortion bill was brought before the court and Ginsborg began repeatedly shouting, “TERMINATE. TERMINATE. TERMINATE!” Technicians were brought in and, after a brief reboot, court resumed as usual.
“Any concern that Ruth will be resigning her chair can be put to rest at this point,” said lead technician Robert Cornell. “She’s now running on the most powerful lithium-ion battery in the world, is plated with titanium body armor, runs on an Intel Xeon processor, and can get a strong wifi signal practically anywhere.” Ginsborg’s technicians believe she will remain on the court centuries after everyone on this Earth is dead and gone.
Ginsburg made history as the second female appointed to the court by Bill Clinton in 1993. Now, as Ruth Bader Gins-Borg, she has made history again as the first United States Supreme Court cyborg justice.

I stopped watching O'Reilly on a daily basis quite some time ago but I caught this on the FNC website and found it very relevant to what is going on right now with all this black anger going on.

Do blacks have a legit beef? I don't think so.
Well, from my perspective as a WASP; if generations of my Kin were treated similarly I would be demanding repatriations to the MAX !

Slavery was practiced for thousands of years. Blacks were not the only race forced into slavery all races were at one point or place through history. Slavery was practiced through out the world. The world evolved in most parts above slavery. That time and era has passed and no one owes anyone anything for it.

Chinese and Irish were enslaved in the early part of the 20th century. No one race has escaped slavery.

Well then you should be demanding reparations then. There were 300k white slaves in America at the same time there were black slaves. They were called indentured servants and treated far worse than black slaves.

I think the 600,000 lives lost in the civil war covers all debts in blood. That doesn't even count all the limbs lost or other hard disabilities incurred. If someone isn't able to move on at this point; they never will.

Yes, I see...kinda, that logic is ok, sound to some degree but I am talk'n bout one of the reasons the Caucasian race, us, has prospered to the point we enjoy now especially the quintessentially wealthy. Interestingly enough, the main reason for Economic disparity between cultures today is the god awful treatment of those unfortunate to be under the whip back yonder.

Sounds a little "Rabid" to me, but then I was fortunate enough to take advantage of the GI Bill back inna '60's to get a decent degree from ISUE. Further , my father helped me hire in to a good, stable job in a Union Oriented Utility Company and after almost one half century with pay checks coming regularly my Family and I enjoy a comfortable retirement.
The Democratic party, from my experience anyway, always Championed Collective Bargaining and Work Agreement Contracts were always better with Liberal Control of the WH. Just say'n...

Unions are mostly a local issue; not a national one so it really doesn't matter who is President at the time. I was in a heavy equipment Union too. Eight years. They screwed me over. Can't stand Unions. I remember one time during a hard financial depression they were pushing for a wage increase when most of us were happy to just be working. I found Unions to be for Unions; not the working men and women.

Two very different experiences; you and I. It really irritated me they expected all Union members to vote the way they wanted us to like we didn't have any free will or independence. Claimed our jobs depended on it. Bull crap.

Man I'm really sorry you had such a bad experience with your Local and just want to say around these parts in SW Indiana the Operating Engineers Union is not only one of the strongest but probably the best paid. My Union, Local 702 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, are all over the World
Also I must say that due to a multitude of Industrial Conglomerates who lean grotesquely to the Political Right and staunchly abhor any attempt at working class people to form a Bargaining Unit clearly are the culprits for the decline of Unions through very questionable ways and means, even to the ugly point of Anti Americanism.

Perhaps some of your posts might be more valid if you picked up a history book or two and read them. Slaves were owned as property; having been kidnapped, transported to the Americas (and other locations) against their will and sold at auction. They had no rights and while a relatively small number were granted freedom, the only ending of their condition was death. Conversly indentured servants were individuals who, while there were a small percentage of coerced and/or improper incidents, voulantarily enetered into contractual agrrements of a set time and service in exchange for passage to the Americas and subtance during the period of their indenture,

I would also submit that the assertion they were "treated far worse than black slaves" doesn't even rise to the level of bullsh!t.

Well shoot scabby; I didn't mean to make you cry. Here's a tissue...

Speaking of bullshit...

Only about 40 percent of indentured servants lived to complete the terms of their contracts. Female servants were often the subject of harassment from their masters. A woman who became pregnant while a servant often had years tacked on to the end of her service time.

Next time you might try doing some actual reading instead of assuming you know anything about anything. White slaves had it much worse. Their masters knew they had an expiration date on their slavery so they worked them much harder; many times to the point of death. Black slave owners knew their slaves would be with them for their entire lifetimes so they were treated better so they could be useful for much longer. Many times black slaves were even considered part of the family in a way. Well, for that time and their attitudes, as much as possible under those circumstances. Slaves were an investment much like a farmer might view a combine today that they would treat and maintain them well so they would last as long as possible. Granted some owners were total dicks to their slaves. It would be cool to go back in time and kick them in the ballsack just for that alone.

Look, we all know slavery was bad, and that no one should ever be considered property except of course all the bought and paid for politicians in DC. They are "House" slaves and it has nothing to do with their color, gender, or race. Think people like Pelosi, Nadler, and Schiff. Scum de la scum.

Pretty much what I have come to expect from you, an adolescent response to a challenge of what you perceive to be your absolute authority and interpretation of what is acceptable and proper material to post in this thread.

As for actually reading history; if you are goin to google something to support your distorted narative, it would be more helpful as well as well as honest if you post the entire article from which you selected your supporting phrase.

5b. Indentured Servants
Industry and Idleness

William Hogarth, 1747
This picture, Industry and Idleness, shows 2 apprentices starting in identical circumstances, one is the industrious Francis Goodchild and the other is the unsuccessful Thomas Idlefrom.
The growth of tobacco, rice, and indigo and the plantation economy created a tremendous need for labor in Southern English America. Without the aid of modern machinery, human sweat and blood was necessary for the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of these cash crops. While slaves existed in the English colonies throughout the 1600s, indentured servitude was the method of choice employed by many planters before the 1680s. This system provided incentives for both the master and servant to increase the working population of the Chesapeake colonies.
Virginia and Maryland operated under what was known as the "HEADRIGHT SYSTEM." The leaders of each colony knew that labor was essential for economic survival, so they provided incentives for planters to import workers. For each laborer brought across the Atlantic, the master was rewarded with 50 acres of land. This system was used by wealthy plantation aristocrats to increase their land holdings dramatically. In addition, of course, they received the services of the workers for the duration of the indenture.
This system seemed to benefit the servant as well. Each INDENTURED SERVANT would have their fare across the Atlantic paid in full by their master. A contract was written that stipulated the length of service — typically five years. The servant would be supplied room and board while working in the master's fields. Upon completion of the contract, the servant would receive "freedom dues," a pre-arranged termination bonus. This might include land, money, a gun, clothes or food. On the surface it seemed like a terrific way for the luckless English poor to make their way to prosperity in a new land. Beneath the surface, this was not often the case.
Only about 40 percent of indentured servants lived to complete the terms of their contracts. Female servants were often the subject of harassment from their masters. A woman who became pregnant while a servant often had years tacked on to the end of her service time. Early in the century, some servants were able to gain their own land as free men. But by 1660, much of the best land was claimed by the large land owners. The former servants were pushed westward, where the mountainous land was less arable and the threat from Indians constant. A class of angry, impoverished pioneer farmers began to emerge as the 1600s grew old. After BACON'S REBELLION in 1676, planters began to prefer permanent African slavery to the headright system that had previously enabled them to prosper.
__

And still not addressed by your protestation is the critical fact that while terms of their servitude may have been violated to various extents in some cases, the contract was enetered into voluntarily. There was nothing voluntary about slavery and except for extremely rare cases was always for life!

If you want to count pennies; the original slaves were caught by other tribes in Africa then sold to slave traders of the time. Slavery is still a fact of life today in some parts of the world. Your version of voluntary suggests these indentured servants actually had a choice. I guess a choice between death or a short life in a debtors prison and indentured servitude is something you would consider a choice. I do not. A full 60% of them still died as white slaves.

The most important fact of the slavery issue is still the civil war in which 600k lives were lost. A war that pitted brother against brother. All debts have been paid. No reparations will ever be due 150+ years after that issue was settled in blood. It's done and over with. Get used to it or don't. I don't really care for your pretentious attitudes or what you think either way.
