I have been looking at a red Cross Country Tour for a while. I still love my Road King. So I'm on the fence for the moment.
Does anyone have any deciding factor?
I have ridden all the bikes at a test ride.

My previous bike was a Road King. Don't miss it a bit.
Victory has superior engine technology, not to mention other engineering advantages over Harley.
No more $100 HD oil changes. Victory has "one hole - one fluid" Oil changes are a piece of cake. No special oil filter wrenches or oil running all over the voltage regulator when you pull the filter.

So; how does the XCT do on a gravel road. Once in a great while there will be a gravel road that needs to be done to get back to pavement.
Some road bikes just don't like gravel. The Road King doesn't care as long as you take it easy in the corners.

The XC does just as well if not better than any other cruiser I have ridden in the dirt. Sand is bad in my area, and no road bike does well in the sand.
