I wanted to see what it had....

Best run was [email protected] on a 1.987 60'.

It had a little more left in it if I was more aggressive but not much.

Bone stock bike and my first time at the track with a motorcycle.

Sorry....I figured since I posted in the Victory 8-Ball section it would imply that it was my Victory Hammer 8-Ball. :ltr:

Anything in the 12s would excite me for a bone stock bike. What year bike is yours and is it a 106? I still have not had a chance to take my 07 hammer to the strip, but I'm definitely planning on it! I hope I can pull off a 12.xx with it being bone stock. Post your best timeslip, if you still have it. Would be nice to have as a reference.

My bike is a 2012 Victory Hammer 8-Ball.

One thing I noticed is that it seemed like the rev limiter kicked in earlier in the 1st and 2nd gear than in 3rd or 4th. I crossed the line at about 5k in 4th gear. I shifted out of 1st and 2nd at 5k and held out 3rd to just about 5,100 or 5,200. It seems to like that better.

THese things fall on their faces after the 1/8th mile. lol But they are fun to launch! I was racing a CBR600RR most of the time and he beat me by about 1.7 seconds and 22-25 mph each time.

I an take a pic tomorrow and post it from work. The DA correction was close to .2 seconds and there was a 12-15 mph head wind. So yeah, 12.7 is doable without question.

R/T = .120
60' = 1.978
330 = 5.319
1/8 = 8.196
MPH = 84.38
1000 = 10.761
1/4 = 12.983
MPH = 100.35

I was slipping the clutch out for maybe 15 feet with a tad of wheel spin and leaving at around 2500-2800 rpms.

I probably could have done a lowe 12.9 or a high 12.8 if I would have tried again but I had enough for one day and was ready to go home.

Rode the bike 112 miles to the track Friday night in just under 2 hours and never stopped. My ass hurt so freaking bad it was unreal. Got up the next morning and went to the track. No tire adjustments, no burn out to heat it up, just pull up and go. :)

I was able to get my 2013 Corvete 6-speed down the track the week prior in [email protected] Not bad for run flats on a track that is slightly uphill and its uphill at the line so I kept rocking back. The DA was over 2k that day too.

Its a good time. Anyone else in PA want to join? We are going back to race on the 7th of October at Beaver Springs. cheers

We race at Beaver Springs and the track opens to racing at 10am and goes till either 3 or 4 pm....depending if they have a scheduled series race that weekend.

Out next outing is October 7th. Not sure if I am taking my bike or car down at this point. You are more than welcome to join. cheers

Some of us leave from up above Williamsport, some are from Wilks-Barre and others are from Harrisburg. Most likely most of us will be staying at my friends house a few miles from the track Saturday night.

Cost is $40 and you can run as many times as you want to. Its a really good time, lots of nice people and always a pleasant experience.

Im not sure if the gearing is any different or not but it should be pretty close to my bike.

Like said, if you can make it good, if not perhaps next year. :)

Could have been a Vegas 8ball, or a Kingpin 8ball, or a Vision 8ball.....:crzy:

Took longer to ask the question and hit "submit reply" than it would to just click my profile and see. :ltr:

I wish it would put under your name what bike you are registered on here with. That would be a nice little feature instead of making a signature.

I will at some point.

Still debating on selling it.

As soon as I got 50+ miles from my area people didnt almost run me over at every chance they had.

I havent been to Vegas in years. I may need to go again.
