This may be long , I will get to the point . I will mention no names , unless it comes to that via your responses . I , like lots of you buy stuff for my bike online . Most of what I am looking for , when I ask my dealer , he looks puzzled , and baffled . So its online I go . I have purchased stuff from 6-7 different Vic Vendors so far . 3 of them have been stellar , and I have gone back for more ... A few more , not so great . Let me reflect , The 3 that are great , I get an immediate Emailed invoice , with all info you can imagine on it with a invoice # and confirmation of received order . Usually , within an hour or two , I will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking info . Wow , who would have thought ! Some of the better Vendors also show "in stock" quantities for their items right next to them , this I also like . The better vendors too , will provide info such as B/O , and delayed shipping items and ask how you would like to proceed . You see for me , its all about communication , and the most info the Vendor provides to me . When I pay I use Paypal primarily , so I'm actually laying out MY cash for the product , NOT charging it , and when , say you lay out 800.00 for some pipes , You want to know when you are getting them and all pertinent info there in . Certain Vendors have no interest in communication , and these guys leave me bewildered and pissed . This has happened more than I like to admit , and I'm sure I am not alone . How these guys stay in business is a mystery to me . I would like to know what's important to you guys when ordering online . I'm cutting this short , because its already too long , and I will be happy to bloviate more if anybody responds , suffice to say I'm eager to hear your online tales , good or bad . I am not looking to openly bash anyone , no names need be mentioned .
