Victory has the unisex heated jacket on clearance for $120. Im wondering if anyone has one of these and what you think of it.

I will have it folded up in the side bags of my xct most of the time and am wondering if the wires break easily.

Thanks Adam

Not a Victory jacket but......

I've had the Gerbing heated jacket going on 10 years now. It's been rolled up and stuffed in a travel bag, some very small saddle bags (VStar custom) and has been stuffed in my XCT saddlebags numerous times! I've never had it not work after pulling it out. No wires broke that I can tell! If you get 5 years outta the Vic jacket, it only comes out to 2 bucks a month! I'd say that's worth investment!! :grin

How is the jacket by itself? Is it thin and worthless or does it have some insulation to it?

do some research and see who makes it.
I have had a Gerbing for ever. There made to wear under a jacket. But on a chill night there fine when plugged in. Always keep on top of the load. there are two different heated jackets for temps.
I have never washed mine. Gerbing has a great warranty.

When i use mine, [TOURMASTER] Its over a T shirt and under a leather jacket...The closer to your body the better it heats.. Last year i had to do a 180 mile ride at under 10 degrees F... Never felt cold... But a word to the wise, Just in case for some reason the jacket fails [fuse' bike brakes down ETC].. In those temps i make sure i packed extra clothes... T

Meh! It looks nice - but with the wires in your pocket it's kinda annoying just wearing it! I haven't cut the wires, may sell it. I rather use my First Gear when it's cold out, the Vic one isn't warm - it's a jacket you would take along for when it gets night time and there is a small chill in the air!
