Victory Reports Q3 2010 Results
Sales up 116% despite weak market

Unit sales in North America increased by over 50% in the third quarter despite a weak market for heavyweight cruisers and touring motorcycles. Sales outside North America were even stronger, with Polaris reporting an increase over 100% compared to the same quarter in 2009. Demand was high across Victory’s entire line-up, with the Cross Country and Cross Roads performing well in particular.

North American dealer inventory of Victory motorcycles declined 32 percent in the 2010 third quarter compared to 2009 third quarter levels. The sale of Victory motorcycles in markets outside of North America also continues to increase, with sales up over 100 percent for the 2010 third quarter compared to the same period last year.

My question:
Does higher proffits and lower invetory mean I can kiss g'bye getting a killer deal? What do you think?

shop around there are some decent deals to be had. I got a 2011 XC just like in the photo you provided;
for $17,00 OTD.

The XC does sell well and does not stay on the floor long. They got the blue XC in on a Monday and I bought it on Thursday. I had called several dealers and only 1 had 1 in stock which was the 1 I got.

I think Victory will hurt HD by the looks, being the other American made bike, and being a solid made bike.

When I pulled the seat off to install the drivers backrest I was very surprised to find a thick metal rear fender. I was not expecting that. Even the Fairing mount was a surprise.
