Curious to know if anyone else is planning on attending either? Love to place a face with a name.

Just visited your state Gas, had a great time. Would have loved to had our bikes out there but just didnt work out. We stayed at Royal Anchor on Old Orchard Beach. It was nice because most of the tourists were gone so no crowds to fight. We passed Bentleys a couple of times but never stopped in as we traveled up and down the coast. Great scenery and very friendly people. We'll definitley be back.

Wingman,
Glad to hear that you had a good time. Maine is a great state. You definitely hit OOB at the right time. I try to avoid that place like the plague in the middle of the summer. The traffic can be brutal. Next time your in the area, give me a shout(I suspect it won't be until next year) and we'll hook up for a ride. Bentley's is quite the place.... and one of the few Victory bars around.

Just got back from the drags at New england dragway and what a blast. I had anticipated that it was going to be strickly V-twin bikes but it was a mix of everything from bikes to cars, trucks and even a couple of sleds! Not sure of the correct racing terminology but it was an open class format. I would say more than half of the bikes were Victory's. I was very impressed at what I saw. No land speed records but most were running in 12.8 area and saw one in the mid 11's. Their were actually quite a few visions. Unfortunately most of the Victory's had to line up against a rocket so they were getting beat by about 2 seconds but still impressed none the less. It kind of gets me amped up about maybe giving it a shot next year. Their was only one Harleythat raced and it was a bagger. It beat a Victory with a 12.4! :( Pretty impressive for a bagger, probably had 9 grand in the motor to beat it by a .4 seconds. :D Sorry I couldn't resist. The 2 sleds ran in the 10's!! Good times and looking forward to the ride tomorrow.
