I just purchased an 09 Vegas. Runs perfect. I can not find any problems, but when riding I am hearing a low sound almost sounds like a low powered car horn. Will make this sound once or several times almost every mile or two. Any suggestions on what this could be? Any help greatly appreciated….

Is the sound coming from the rear of the bike? If so it is likely the rear belt squeaking because it is rubbing the side of the rear pulley. I would suggest checking belt tension and through that process you should be re-aligning the belt to run centered on the rear wheel pulley. A temporary fix would be to rub the sides of the belt with a bar of soap.

Thanks for the feedback. The sound was coming from the horn somehow getting air blown through backwards. I think previous owner might have removed something that would stop that from happening.
