Victory XR fairing

I know there is one on this sight using the Vic fairing on the XR. Anyone else?

I was in the process of ordering my second Cee Bailey windshield today to try to get something that resembles wind protection without bolting a thousand pieces to the front of my bike. Let's just say that my customer service results at Cee Bailey were less then desirable. So that led me to a "screw it" moment and a call to Kate at Honda Toledo East for fairing pricing. She wasn't in, so now I have some more research time.

Thoughts on the fairing? BTW, I like the look and eventually was more than likely heading in that direction anyway.

I notice no air flow from there.
I'll agree. No noticable wind flow at all. Now that could change when it drops into the 20s but that's going to be awhile.
Thanks for the reply folks...still pondering the fairing
My guess is that if you put it on, rode with it for a year and didn't like it, you would recover close to all of your $$ selling it used. Once more people start using these fairings, others will see how nice they are.
Light bar works for me - did need to elongate the holes in the bar a tiny bit.
To elongate the holes in what? The faring bracket or the light bars? I just ordered a faring today, I took the plunge and I have the light bar already, thanks... wac

Q1, no, it comes black paint matched. Q2 plastic composite, Q3 $718.00. Q4 you are observant, yes the four mounting holes for the windshield. Q5 no, not needed. Q6 yes you do! Q7 yes a shitload of guys have for f's sake a dozen of us have answered the same questions over and over again
sorry, search is not my friend. hopefully i will run into someone
who has one on and loves to discuss their bike with others.
will not waste any more of your time. i apologize.--irv
Just elongate the holes in the small bracket that holds the individual running light to move the light away from the fairing just a little bit. Good luck.

Thanks for the answer, keep the rubber side down.
Also considering one of these for my hardball. Only not sure at the moment as the flat black version kit comes with a really small windshield . the gloss version shield looks ok and dont want to be spending more money on changing it straight away..decisions/decisions. lol.
how easy is it off and on? I'd love this for the longer rides
Easy-Peasy

Easy-Peasy. Remove two easy to get to bolts - under a minute.
great, thanks. I think it looks really sharp on the bike... and for those long rides more protection is always nice
XR Fairing

recently got the xr fairing and was kinda disapointed. The shield really sucks. It like having no windshield at all. Just got a replacement shield...memphis shades spoiler 9 inch smoke for the HD.flh. Cut out the bottem and redrilled the holes.....perfect! Gonna try it out on monday and will post pics. Hope the spoiler kicks the wind over me.
That's what I have. You're goin to want some lower deflectors. Then you'll be a happy camper!
Great....another $299 just to get it right for the hwy. Any vendors have em better and cheaper than ma vic?
Get them from Kate at Honda east Toledo she'll get ya a good deal. That will be the last you'll have to spend to make it awesome!
This is the look I am after. Did you have any problems installing your auxillary lights with the Fairing? I was told that could not be done. You obviously proved them wrong.
What fairing is that?
