I know AVG and Lookout both have Android antivirus programs. I ran Lookout on my last Android phone and never had any virus-related issues.

I would suggest Advanced Task Killer as well, if you don't already have it. It's sort of like Task Manager on Windows, allows you to shut down background tasks. Phone settings should allow you to view what apps are soaking up RAM and CPU, so you can make sure you kill those all the time. Also look to see how much internal storage as left. As internal storage dwindles, Android devices seem to get twitchier. Move all the apps you can to your memory card if you have one...bloatware, of course, cannot be moved.

Failing that, factory reset. lol

I haven't had an Android for over a year now, switched to a Windows Phone at my last upgrade. But if I remember correctly, you should be able to go to Settings>Phone Settings>Factory Reset or something very similar. Sorry I can't be more help.

Just make sure you back up anything you want to keep. Androids offer Backup Assistant for free, so make sure you sync it before resetting. Also make sure any pics or videos you want to keep are on the memory card instead of internal storage.
