This is an odd one. I have a 2014 victory vision in the shop and the ignition is always on so the only way to kill the engine is to use the stop switch. Is this an ignition switch problem or something else.
I am guessing this is one of those "never seen this before" deals
I called the owner and it turns out he installed a security system which uses a fob and bypasses the ignition sw. So the kill switch stops the motor and the fob is used to initiate start/run - yes It's a odd deal but working as designed.
