I have done a couple of Iron Butts and ROUTINELY ride from my home in Searcy, AR to Chesapeake, VA (1030 miles)...and do this in 17.5 hours with nothing more than gas stops...my complaint ain't my butt, but OLD FINGERS and HANDS.

I have one on my XCT that I have done 3 logged IBA rides and several LONG rides......and without an Airhawk pad I couldn't do it. The seat is quality, and is very comfy for shorter rides during the winter.....Fact of the matter I weigh too much for thier foam when the temps go up or after a couple hours. I end up sitting flat on the seat pan. If they had a more dense foam, or would work with me to firm it up I would love it. Problem is, they are pretty much a one seat like it or not company it seems. I AM NOT BASHING THEM AT ALL, but their seat foam is just no firm enough for my 270 lbs but the seat size, and quality is great and with an Airhawk I can ride it for many hours.

Concur with Chips, I have the same problem, This winter I am going to re-foam my Ultimate with stuff from these guys.

Re-did a Gold Wing seat a few years ago withthis stuff and loved it.

I used several layers, starting with firm, then medium and a layer of pugdee ( Memory foam) to finish. Since it is cold now and alternatly snow and rain it is a good time to make the change.

I also need to increase the heigh of the lower back support to give just a bit better support.

Cheers

Wish there was a little love for the steel-frame Vic's. Though I understand the ultimate seats appear to be a lot about thick padding which is more for the tour bikes rather than the low slung cruisers. But as there's pretty much Corbin and Mustang for the cruiser bikes, it'd be nice to see more in the game.

True about the padding. So much so that I sold mine because I couldn't put both feet down comfortably. Don't get me wrong, it was a fantastic seat, but I wouldn't recommend it for the vertically challenged like myself. Had one on my vstar 1300 and loved it.

We have Ultimate on our site but the discount isn't much for the Head Hunter club members. We cant really discount them as they give us nothing to work with as far as price.
