Installed a Lloyd's timing wheel in my XC. Makes a noticeable difference, for sure.

First really cool day I had to ride here in central Fla. (mid 60's)Took a ride up to Lakeland to a shopping area we like to eat and shop at. Saw the new Ford VS Ferrari movie and had dinner.

Changed the oil & filter and took it for a short 60 mile putt to make sure everything was good, then filled it with fresh gas and parked it for the evening.

A balmy 75 today. Going to be better tomorrow, so I plan to empty that full tank.

Yesterday I went riding and washed my scooter. I was heading to a place to have lunch. I stopped at a red light and a old man beside me rolled down his window and complemented by scooter. Then when I was leaving the restaurant a guy walked over as I was leaving and complemented my scooter. Victory really screwed up discontinuing the Victory line.

Rode the first 4 hours of a trip to Mt Panorama Bathurst, via the long and winding roads of New South Wales.
Stopped at my usual spot, the Deepwater Inn, for top tucker(food)
country hospitality, and a nice warm bed, this place was built in 1860, from sandstone blocks, burnt out a few years back and now revamped and offering weary travellers, particularly bikers, an inexpensive stop along the road...my ice cream n apple pie just arrived!😋

had to eat the ice cream before it melted, but above is the campfire oven baked meal I ate an hour ago after moving my XC out the back to outside the door of the room Im staying the night in.
Bikes running fantastic as usual, carving up the road from Casino to Tenterfield, through recently burnt out countryside.

Read that the Koala is now "functionally extinct" because so many died and the trees they need to eat are gone so those left will starve. 😢

Riding through burnt out areas is a drag. The motel looks nice and the food looks good, my kind of place if you can get a beer there. But if not I generally have something to drink on my scooter.;)

arrived at Mt Panorama Bathurst start 4 days of volunteer flag marshal duty tomoz
Victory ran like a freight train all the way here, fires, dust storns, violent rainstorms, nothing could halt its progress.
Except its excellent brakes of course, when I had to avoid 3 goats near Hill End

Hard up cow cockies hunted them for their skins during the great depression, killed them by the tens of thousands. There are old photos around of trucks piled high with the skins. More recently there has been massive urban expansion into prime koala habitat, with tree clearing, more traffic so more roadkill, and a widespread outbreak of chlamydia. I still occasionally see them on my place, and frequently hear them at night. They sound like they are trying to start a dud chainsaw.

Koalas with chlamydia! That statement is a tasteless joke just waiting to be written.

Sad to see/hear. All that burning up will take years to grow back and the wild life being displaced and killed is sad. Hope they get under control soon.

Installed lower fork deflectors on my cross country. Wow, they make a dramatic difference!

Found an oil Drip spot under my 2014 XC. It must of had a gender change and become a Harley.
I guess this weekend I'll try to trace it. Right now it looks like the area just a couple inches ahead of the filter is oily. Any ideas from anyone?
