I used 18ga. when I had to stretch those wires installing pull back handle bars. None of the handle bar controls carry much current load. But insulation thickness and number of strands in the wire can have a major effect on the overall wire bulk and flexibility. If you are making splices in the sheath along the handle bars, make sure they are well insulated and stagger them so they don't all sit on top of each other.
Thanks for the tips. I was going to run the wires through the bars but the holes ain't even close so I'm going to run em as clean as i can outside the bars. also found a guy on eBay to buy wire by the foot in several color combos.
Just bought a 2000 V92SC. 1st gear engagement is very noisy, a grind followed by a clunk. I´ve adjusted the play out of the clutch cable, but no improvement. It´s as if the clutch is not disengaging properly. Is this normal on these models or can someone suggest a remedy. Thanks for any help.
Hey guys I've looked all over the internet but can't find a cable extension kit that fits my 2000 Victory V92SC. I recently bought 15" apes for it but can't seem to find the right extension kit. Thank you so much for your time.
Hey Guys, I have a buddy that has a beautiful 2003 Victory 92 that we can't get started. The bike has set in his garage for the past two years with a full tank of gas that he put stabilizer in. I had to air the tires up as they both had only 4 lbs of air in them, so put 40 in it and rolled it...
Hey everyone. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. I posted in the introduction section the other day and got some feedback, but thought i'd try this thread to see if anyone had another idea for me.
