Anyone taken a set of unwrapped D&D slip-on mufflers and wrapped them?

I spoke with a D&D tech and he said you have to cut the inner shield off and then you can wrap the baffle.

Anyone done this?

If so, care to share a "how to" ?

I actually forgot I'd started a thread on this... back in Nov. Puhleeze forgive me for my memory lapse... ;)

In any event, that thread kinda went sideways and died and I never did get a straight answer.

I don't want to re-wrap but rather convert an unwrapped into a wrapped.

Update

Just an update to this thread.

I've purchased a pair of used, wrapped baffles from another member.

Decided to go this route rather than modifying my existing "non-wrapped" baffles.

Got a pic of the unwrapped ones? Anyone know the difference in noise level between the 2? Performance increase between the 2?
