I recently checked into that supplier too. The bars are not OEM, they are aftermarket. When they arrive, please post if they are OEM equivalent in weight and workmanship. They offer chrome for $177 + shipping. A further search had 'em at $165 on another site.
For those who are interested, the company that sells these is USA-BIKER, here's a link....

I need to replace a crash bar - Vic wants $325 for one, and I can get a pair from USA-Biker for $165, but I'm holding off, not knowing what the quality might be.

Will do ! BUT, I have no idea about the OEM's weight (ad says they weigh 9 lbs), but I will check the fitment and weld quality.

I got a set from those guys off ebay last October for Karen's Magnum. For the money, I thought they're pretty nice. I don't feel the quality of the chrome is quite as good as Victory's, but the construction seems solid and they fit well. I figured for the price, I'd give them a shot and if they didn't do well (hold up), I'd replace them with the Vic part. We've only had them on for 6 months but I'm not disappointed and they look great so far. YMMV:wink

OK, got the new crash bars in and installed...they had some light marring/scratches, but that should rub out with a little effort. They are not a cheap knock-off ! They feel VERY solid and mount up nicely with no fitment issues. The weld quality is good....the lower "bracket" has plenty of penetration and heat, but the upper bracket weld looks to be on the "cold" side....

1---good fillet weld...plenty of heat and penetration
2---good fillet weld...adequate heat and penetration..."ideal"
3---ok weld...not good but not really bad...

Since the weld on the top bracket is circumferential (all the way around), it should be fine....and it is consistent. I did contact the company, but some reviewers had little luck with getting a response...time will tell.

Well, I got a reply back from Bennie at USA Biker and he will be addressing the "inadequate" packing issue with his supplier---he is a re-seller of the crash bars. He seemed genuinely concerned about my inquiries, so I'd give his company a "thumbs up". He also requested some installed pics and he will be featuring them in his ad thumb up

I ordered a black set from them on e-bay before Christmas. The quality is really good the finish had one flaw right next to the top mounting point that was covered by the factory cover plate when installed. The mounting bolts they send are not the best hardware. I ordered the factory bolts and cover plates that hide the top bolts for a cleaner install. All in all a very good deal and the black finish looks like its going to hold up really good. I also ordered the factory soft closeouts and they fit perfect, as did the lock and ride closeouts that I did not care for after buying them so I resold those. They are ok just not for the price for as little use as they would get down in my southern temps. Here are the factory part numbers for the mounting hardware;

qty6 7518908 SCREW 6 Usage
qty1 5413860 COVER, PLATE, HIGHWAY BAR, LH
qty1 5413861 COVER, PLATE, HIGHWAY BAR, RH
