High pressure spray can also inject water between the gaskets and into the crankcase leaving the oil looking like chocolate milk.

 

Also not good for wheel bearings or steering head bearings.

 

High pressure washing is never a good idea, period.

+1. Just read that last night. Was looking up how to adjust the rear shock and saw where it said not to use high pressure washers.

 

If any of you are like me I don't have access to a water hose and it wouldn't be really easy to carry buckets of water from apartment to bike to wash, I use the spot free rinse at do it your self car washes and for the soap I simply don't squeeze the trigger. I use one of those washing gloves to wipe as I spray. I do fine detailing back home with rags and cleaners. just a thought....
